Marcus King is passionate about photography. He pours his heart and soul into all aspects of his work and takes nothing for granted, including the minute details that allow him to think outside the box and bring ideas to life.
Born and raised in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, his career as a commercial photographer includes a client base of people, schools, ad agencies and companies including Broward College, Florida Atlantic University, ABC Radio, Black & Decker, Sensormatic, Play Along Toys, Cox Media Group and others who rely on his experience, skill and talent to create images that are professional and ideal for advertising, ecommerce, marketing and product packaging.
Marcus is a Certified Professional Photographer and a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). A dependable and creative professional who consistently delivers high quality work, he has worked more than 10 years in photography, has an additional seven years work experience in the advertising, design, marketing and journalism fields and applies his knowledge of those areas in every facet of his work.
Always open to new ideas, he has embraced the digital age of photography and is equally comfortable behind the camera and in front of a computer. Hundreds of hours creating and editing images, his pursuit for excellence and highest quality is always consistent. Marcus' love for photography and creative sense of lighting live with him every day. Marcus has a high skill level in digital capture, is fluent in ambient and strobe lighting, fiercely pursues excellence in a respectful manner, is assertive and constructive when directing models on set, has a keen eye for detail, and is a master level user of Adobe Photoshop including high end retouching.
After meeting and working with him, most people describe him as a passionate, resourceful, innovative, mullti-talented photographer whose warm personality, strong ethics, critical thinking skills, dependability, fairness, collaborative nature, drive, positive energy, enthusiasm, attention to detail and exceptional follow through make him very approachable and easy to work with.
